I have about the worst luck ever!! My patient no showed today! I even called her last night to confirm the appointment. It is so frustrating! I really needed this patient too because she is a class 2. Oh, well. So my hubby had to come in and help me. I was able to pass off some PE's and get 4 more quads of a 1B. That is 6 extra quads of a 1B that I don't need. At least I was able to get credit for something today. I hope my patient will be able to come in sometime but clinic time is so precious now! I hope I can fulfill all my requirements!

Today I had a goal to pass off some PE's. That didn't happen unfortunately. Today I totally dropped the ball! I was just so slow at scaling and she was just a 1B. I wanted to have gotten her done at her first appointment but it took a million years to get in to take x-rays. So all I had to do today was scale. I hope that I get more class 2 and 3 patients. I am all done with 1B's so I hope they stay away. Next time I hope I can pass off some PE's.

Today was a complete waste!! Well, I guess almost. My patient that didn't show up last week came today but it turns out that his blood pressure is high. It was practicaly through the roof! So of course with my luck he had no physician to call to get a consult so we had to kick him out. I franticaly tried to find another patient and luckily my mother in law was able to come in. I didn't want to waste another whole day so I took a full mouth and bitewings x-rays. I only needed two retakes so not too bad. My goal for taking the full mouth was to do better on the canines. I usually really struggle with the canine shot but they all turned out. One had a little root lapping but the whole root was in the premolar shot so I didn't have to retake it. I feel like time is running out on requirements but at least I was able to get some requirements done.

Today I saw another 1B. I made the goal to finish her in one appointment and to scale her quickly. I was able to finish her all in one appointment which was nice. I also scaled her in about a half an hour. I just need to focus on getting it down to 20 minutes now. She was a cute girl and was easy to work on. It was a pretty straight forward day. I was able to do a sealant on her and that was nice. I am getting a little nervous because the semester is almost over and I have so many requirements to still fulfill!! It is stressful!
